About Us - Corporate Responsibility
Operating in a responsible and sustainable manner is important to TT electronics. Whilst we run our business in line with the expectations of diverse global stakeholders, we also see corporate responsibility as a discipline that helps us to manage risks and maximise on the opportunities presented to us in a changing world.
We have invested significant energy in our Corporate Responsibility (CR) activity, resulting in a global audit of our activity, engagement with industry bodies, and the roll out of new group values.
We have become a member of the Electronics Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC). We are adopting their code of conduct and aiming to embed throughout our operating companies. Through engagement with the EICC, we are gaining a better understanding of industry best-practice and we are able to respond proactively to the issues that affect our industry, particularly around our global supply chains.
We are also members of Business in the Community and they, too, help us to direct and shape our CR initiatives.
Whilst we are at the beginning of our CSR journey, we have taken important steps to develop a framework upon which we can build. There is much to do but we are committed to embedding CR principles into our business and we will be setting targets in critical areas against which we can benchmark our progress.
