The TT Electronics Kuantan facility receives
High Productivity Enterprise (HPE) Award from the Malaysian National Productivity Council
This award recognises Malaysian organisations demonstrating consisently high levels of productivity whilst utilising the skills and experience of their employees from the local area. The TT Electronics Kuantan team reeived the award from the Malaysian National Productivity Council which is chaired by the country’s Prime Minister Mahathir Bin Mohamad. TT Electronics is one of only 16 companies in Malaysia who achieved the strict standards set by the Council and was delighted to except the award in recognition for its excellent work culture, good employee-management relationship and high productivity.
The award was presented to Operations Director/General Manager Mohd Podzi by Datuk Darell Leiking (Minister of International Trade and Industry, Malaysia) at a special ceremony in Kuala Lumpur on 25th June.
Mohd Podzi was delighted to accept the award on behalf of the Kuantan team stating “We take real pride in our productivity levels and this award is testament to continuously high performance of our team and of the standards we strive for in operations throughout the facility. We’re also extremely proud to have so much local talent within our ranks and continue to try and provide employment opportunities for those in the community”.
