We're a company with high standards in everything we do, committed to acting ethically and with integrity.

We also take seriously our responsibilities as a corporate citizen, business partner and employer.

Sustainability:  It’s important to understand the impact of our activities on the environment and continually drive improvement. Our sites are developing cleaner energy solutions to reduce CO2 emissions, improving energy and water efficiency, reducing the use of natural resources and minimising waste. Our progress is regularly monitored through our Health, Safety & Environmental Council.

Health and Safety: Our aim is to make Zero Harm a reality. Through strong leadership, shared ownership and the full engagement of our employees, we're building a culture that encourages everyone to work safely together.

Engaging our people: we believe in making TT Electronics a great place to work - for our people, our customers and for our business success. We want teams to feel empowered, motivated and connected to our strategy and vision. Forums such as our annual survey give all employees a voice to help us listen, encourage new ideas and take actions to keep on improving.

Our BE Inspired recognition scheme rewards employees who go the extra mile and our hours for giving programme encourages everyone to take time out to support our local communities and make us all feel proud to be part of TT Electronics.

Ethics: We have high business and ethical standards and do not tolerate bribery or corruption in any form. To support this, we've developed a Statement of Business and Ethics Code which sets out the guiding principles by which we all operate. We also have a Whistleblower Policy as well as an Anonymous Whistleblowing Hotline via which individuals can notify us of any concerns.

Human rights: TT Electronics is committed to upholding the human rights of its workers and treating them with dignity and respect. We follow the Responsible Business Alliance's code of conduct which sets standards to ensure working conditions are safe and workers are treated fairly.

Modern Slavery:  We have a zero tolerance approach to modern slavery and set standards we expect from all our employees and business partners. These standards are designed to ensure that modern slavery does not take place anywhere within our own company or in any of our supply chains.  Read our Modern Slavery Statement.

Making a Difference in Local Communities

We believe it's important to actively support local causes and help the communities in which we operate. That's why we encourage our employees to get involved - use their skills and their hours for giving to support social and environmental projects, volunteer for local charities and feel proud to be part of TT Electronics.

Here are some examples of how teams are making a difference in their local communities:

Proud to Serve - TT Electronics Volunteer Groups

Community Spirit

Lutterworth, U.K. employees painted a large community lounge area at Young Leicestershire, a local youth centre that’s also used by adults with learning difficulties.

Teamwork

In Carrollton, U.S., volunteers built a wheelchair ramp for a local elderly woman. The Carrollton team has now completed five ramp-building projects in the last two years.

Inspiring the Next Generation of Engineers

TT Joins Yeovilton Air Day 2019

Recently, TT's Barnstaple, UK team hosted a stand in the STEM hangar at Yeovilton Air Day.  We set up a display which contained models and information of our capabilties within our Power Electronics division.

Highlights of the display were our interactive experiments, "Human Circuit Challenge", Squishy Circuits", and "Light Up LED Box".

The students loved the hands-on activities.  A good day was had by all!

Engaging students

Engineers from our Juarez, Mexico site shared their knowledge with 30 students from a local technical college.

Teacher Training

Corpus Christi, U.S. hosted a five-day teacher externship where teachers shadowed employees, learning about skills and opportunities in the electronics industry to take back to the classroom.
