Mexicali supports local school
On 22nd October 62 volunteers from our Mexicali plant joined together to take part a major community support project. The team spent the whole day transforming a local elementary school working with teachers and pupils on activities including general maintenance, painting, cleaning and gardening. Luima Valenzuela, HR Manager said: “It was hard work for the team but well worth the effort - the school was delighted with the results”.
Bedlington digs for charity
A team of Bedlington volunteers recently spent the day gardening at a local care home run by their chosen charity MIND.
After a fruitful day’s work care home manager Adelle Wallis said: “We were delighted with the transformation. The residents love the garden area which holds many memories for families and friends.”
Rogerstone reaches new heights for charity
Congratulations to the Rogerstone team of intrepid mountaineers who recently completed the Snowdon Horseshoe Challenge for Target Ovarian Cancer. Debbie Evans, Karen Tarrant, Chris Stanford and Estilla Stanford completed a gruelling 12 hours of mountain walking. The amount raised was match funded by TT, for a cause close to the team’s heart.
Annual Perry fundraiser
Our team in Perry held its 5th ‘Stuff the Bus’ drive to raise money and school supplies for local children.
Over a 3-week period, they filled a miniature school bus with school supplies including pencils, crayons, and notebooks. The donations were given to the kids and their families at a ‘Back to School Bash’.
Corpus cooks up a Halloween feast
Our Corpus team held their annual charitable BBQ this October, with over 25 employees and their families preparing a BBQ feast for the parents and siblings of the patients at Driscoll Children’s Hospital. Hosted by the local Ronald McDonald House, the Halloween theme brought plenty of fun (and frights!) to everyone involved.
