News

At the recent PCNS Symposium in Seville, Stephen Oxley and the Bedlington team showcased their latest innovation: the Cascaded Balanced Divider (CBD). Their work is a great example of how our teams are pushing the boundaries of high-voltage passive component design.

Impressive Results

The Bedlington team’s two-stage 196:1 CBD prototype performed exceptionally well:

  • Temperature coefficient (TCVR): better than ±5 ppm/°C
  • Voltage coefficient (VCVR): around −0.2 ppm/V

This shows that with clever design and careful engineering, our team can match—or even outperform—conventional high-end dividers without adding unnecessary cost or complexity.

Celebrating the Team

Stephen and the Bedlington team’s work highlights the innovation happening across TT Electronics. Their dedication, skill, and collaboration are helping us stay at the forefront of high-voltage component design—and it’s something everyone at TT can be proud of.
