Woking, UK, 5 September 2025 – TT Electronics, a global provider of engineered technologies for performance critical applications, today announced it has been shortlisted for three categories in the prestigious I&C Awards 2025. The company’s Altitude DC power conversion technology has been recognized in both the Aerospace Military & Defence Product of the Year and Power Product of the Year categories. In addition, Julian Thomas, Group Technology Director at TT Electronics, has been shortlisted for the Industry Personality of the Year Award.
Altitude DC is a next-generation sustainable high-voltage power conversion solution developed to support the electrification of aerospace. Designed for electric, hybrid, and hydrogen aircraft, Altitude DC provides efficient and reliable power at extreme operating conditions – reaching altitudes of up to 50,000 feet for extended periods. With a modular architecture tailored to customer specifications, the technology reduces both weight and footprint while incorporating the latest wide-bandgap devices for enhanced efficiency and performance.
“Our recognition across three categories highlights the breadth of TT Electronics’ innovation – from advanced product design to leadership within the industry,” said Mark Wood, VP Engineering, TT Electronics. “Altitude DC represents a major step forward in sustainable aerospace technologies, and we are proud to see our achievements acknowledged by the I&C Awards.”
The I&C Awards celebrate excellence in innovation, technology, and leadership across the electronics and engineering sectors. Winners will be announced later this year.
