TT Electronics to Showcase MedTech Engineering from Prototype to Production at MD&M Midwest 2026
Medical engineering and manufacturing capabilities, wireless electromagnetic tracking and surgical navigation technologies to feature at Booth 2816
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – October 2026 – TT Electronics will showcase its medical engineering and manufacturing capabilities at MD&M Midwest, taking place October 28–29 at the Minneapolis Convention Center, Booth 2816.
Under the theme “Engineering MedTech from Prototype to Production,” TT will focus on the practical engineering and manufacturing challenges medical device companies face as products move from development into reliable, scalable production.
These include design transfer and manufacturability, quality and regulatory readiness, supplier continuity, integration and test, all of which become increasingly important as a programme moves towards production.
At the show, TT will demonstrate technologies and manufacturing capabilities supporting complex medical devices, including electromagnetic sensors and micro-coils, medical magnetics, complex PCB assemblies and medical power solutions.
The exhibit will also feature a live demonstration of Radwave Technologies’ wireless electromagnetic tracking platform for surgical navigation, combining Radwave’s tracking technology with TT’s electromagnetic sensor expertise. The technology is designed to support accurate, real-time navigation in minimally invasive and robotic procedures, including applications where direct line-of-sight tracking is not practical.
Welly Chou, R&D Director, TT Electronics, said:
“Moving a medical device from prototype into production changes the engineering problem. A design not only has to work; it has to be manufacturable, testable and repeatable, with quality, supply and test strategies that can perform reliably at production scale.
“MD&M Midwest gives us an opportunity to show how that comes together in practice. Electromagnetic tracking is an important part of the story, but so is the engineering and manufacturing expertise needed to integrate technologies into products that can be produced reliably and at scale.”
The exhibit brings together expertise from TT’s Minneapolis medical operations and its wider engineering and manufacturing network, showing how customers can be supported from early development and design transfer through industrialisation and production.
Joint technical session
TT Electronics will also participate as a Featured Partner in the Chamfr Medical Processing Panel on October 27, immediately ahead of MD&M Midwest.
“Navigating the Future: Electromagnetic Tracking & Micro-Coil Sensors for Surgical Navigation” will be presented by Welly Chou, R&D Director, TT Electronics, and Sean Morgan, COO and Head of Engineering, Radwave Technologies.
The session will explore electromagnetic tracking and micro-coil sensor technologies for precise navigation and positioning in medical and surgical applications.
