TT Electronics to Showcase Power Conversion Products and Vertical Integration Capabilities at DSEI

WOKING, UK, 11 September 2023 – TT Electronics, a leading provider of global manufacturing solutions and engineered technologies, will showcase its integration capabilities and power products that improve the precision, reliability and performance of engineered electronics for major defence programs at DSEI in London September 12-15. Products displayed at TT’s booth (Hall 2, Stand 462) will include high voltage and high reliability DC–DC converters and AC–DC converters.

“Our team of experts is at the forefront of developing and manufacturing technology that allows us to push the boundaries of power density and efficiency for electrical power supplies,” said Julian Thomas, engineering director at TT Electronics. “OEMs rely heavily on collaborative partners like TT that can create a compelling combination of value and customisable solutions to solve their most challenging electrification problems.”

The TT team will highlight its flexible and scalable DC–DC converter for safety-critical applications in aerospace and defence. The core 1kW, 800VDCout unit has been designed to scale up to 10kW and be tailored for a wide spectrum of input and output voltages. TT’s custom power management and power conversion products drive optimum system performance while maintaining efficiency and safety for mission-critical applications in harsh environments.

TT’s recent acquisition of Ferranti Power & Control builds on acquisitions made over the last several years to reinforce its UK and US aerospace and defence footprint, further enhancing the company’s portfolio. TT’s high-mix, low-volume global manufacturing solutions in its Nadcap-accredited facilities in the UK and North America support OEM partners in NPI and engineering, electronics manufacturing, test development and system integration.

“We are excited to continue making strides as a custom power solutions and manufacturing provider for major aerospace and defence programs,” said Michael Leahan, Chief Operating Officer at TT Electronics. “Our longstanding reputation as a strategic technology and manufacturing partner is made possible by our continued commitment to invest in our capabilities, facilities and technology roadmap.”

DSEI attendees will have the opportunity to meet with TT Electronics experts, learn about TT’s power and control capabilities, and determine which solution is best for their unique application.
