TT Electronics Launches PAA Series Conduction Cooling Power Supplies

AC/DC switching power supplies offers 130-500 Watts of continuous power across a wide range of operating temperatures.

Woking, UK, 30 April 2024 - TT Electronics, a global provider of engineered electronics for performance critical applications, has announced the release of PAA130, PAA240 and PAA500 series of AC/DC switching power supplies. The PAA series offer multiple variant cooling methods such as Conduction Cooling, Natural Convection, Forced Air or a combination of cooling methods. The PAA Series power supplies are ideal solutions for audio equipment, traffic control monitoring equipment, and outdoor locker product applications.

Depending on the nature of the application, this series can be used solely with a ‘cold plate’, or a combination of forced air and conduction cooling, as well as with just a traditional fan. This gives more flexibility for the user by allowing a wider range of possibilities when designing their system.

“The PAA series answers market demands by accommodating the ever-growing power requirements in a variety of applications and mitigates the need for a cooling fan.” Said Steve Magee, Sales Director at TT Electronics. “This series gives power engineers the opportunity to eliminate a failure mode in their design, reduce unwanted audible noise, and prevent particulate intake caused by needing a fan to cool higher power applications.”

TT Electronics’ PAA conduction-cooled series offers 130-500 Watts in a power-dense package. With high efficiency, increased MTBF, and lower maintenance costs, this series proves to be a superior alternative to traditional forced air or convection-cooled options.
